Cowes Veterinary Surgery is an independent family owned clinic. Sophie and James Elphick purchased Cowes Veterinary Surgery in 2023 from long standing local veterinarian David Cassells upon his retirement. The clinic and its team of veterinarians and veterinary nurses are committed to upholding the strong patient focus and compassionate care that has been long etched into the local community for over 40 years.

From the owners, to our vets and nurses, our team live, breathe and work local. We are heavily involved in the community of Phillip Island and greater Bass Coast region and take pride in offering exceptional veterinary health care to all companion animals including our local wildlife.
